I have set up itunes to be a music server with a network of airport express devices. I want to create a batch file that windows will run each time it starts up. The purpose is to launch itunes and start the party shuffle running with no user interaction. I can start itunes by invoking 'itunes.exe' but i cannot get it to start playing songs from the command line. I can enter a file path to a particular song and it will play that song but not a playlist or the party shuffle. Usually typing ? or help or /? after the app name will reveil the command-line switches but this does not seem to work either.
I know I can write an applescript on a mac to 'press' the run button after itunes starts but how to do this in windows (XP Pro)?
